The Perfect Couple UK Premiere
Brief
It’s Rated By were engaged by Netflix to work on the UK premiere of their new mystery drama series ‘The Perfect Couple’ starring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber. It’s Rated By led on all influencer guestlisting and talent-handling support at the premiere.
Outcome
It’s Rated By carefully curated a guestlist that consisted of both celebrities and content creators across a variety of content niches. With the series being an adaption of a novel we incorporated the theme of ‘couples’ into the guestlisting and invited notable creator couples as well as the #BookTok Community. In addition to this we leveraged significant recent cultural events such as the Olympics and invited freshly returned team GB Olympians.
Results
The campaign exceeded all KPIs and generated widespread social media buzz with influencer posts having a combined reach of over 13 million. The Perfect Couple was Netflix #1 in the UK for a considerable amount of time post premiere.
Community- led brand campaign for e.l.f. cosmetics
Brief
e.l.f. Cosmetics we’re looking for alternative ways to connect with underrepresented audiences and to deepen relationships with influencers in communities across a variety of content niches.
Outcome
It’s Rated By seized the opportunity to host a community-led event for creators passionate about beauty but not solely for those who ascribe to being a ‘beauty influencer’.
e.l.f. 's first event would amplify ‘Black Women in Business’ by e.l.f. hosting a celebratory dinner for 30 black female entrepreneurs during Black History Month.
The guest list consisted of diverse women with significant online influence in various subcultures across beauty, business, tech, fashion and journalism. All attendees demonstrated passion for beauty through their organic content, yet only 40% of attendees were primarily beauty influencers.
The award-winning Receipts Podcast was selected to host the event and lead on conversation that resonated strongly with guests, ensuring it was a community-led conversation.
Attendees were able to learn about some of the deeper product ranges at e.l.f., shade match their foundation and have many photo opportunities featuring e.l.f. 's holy grail products.
Results
The event over-delivered on all KPIs and was hugely successful with overwhelmingly positive sentiments. All guests shared content on Instagram stories and posts on the grid reached an audience of over 1 million.
The community demanded more events like this and we continue to engage with e.l.f to further this strategy.
building a creator community
CHALLENGE
ITV wanted to cultivate a sense of community amongst content creators that they plan to partner with for their 2024/25 ambassadorship programme. Their aim was to build more long-term, non-transactional, collaborative relationships with content creators for campaigns, their future talent pipeline and value exchange.
SOLUTION
The inaugural Creators Summit was our strategy to reposition ITV as a brand that not only partners with creators for campaigns but also a brand that offers authentic value exchange.
It’s Rated By curated and delivered The Creators Summit, an innovative creator-focused event, bringing together just over 100 of the UK’s most relevant creators. They gained an exclusive look behind the scenes of ITV, invaluable industry insights equipping them with the knowledge to springboard into multi-media careers.
The Creators Summit facilitated creators fostering deeper connections with the brand and was an electric launch for ITV’S first-ever ambassador programme, ‘ITV’s Insiders: class of 2024’ as advised by It’s Rated By.
RESULTS
105 macro and mid-tier influencers were in attendance for the Summit. The strategy and the event overdelivered on all KPI’s.
Reach and Amplification: Creators in attendance had a collective following exceeding 60 million. 45% of the group came from underrepresented backgrounds.
Campaign Success: Organic content from the day generated an impressive 100K+ likes, showcasing the event’s immediate impact.
